Welll, I couldn't STAND it any longer.... Shut down early today and went and played on the new 110 in the "back 40".....

Well - in the condition the "back 40" was in, (being newly developed and all), it FELT like 40 acres
it did take me 2.5 hours run time on the hour meter...

I can say I UNDERSTAND where you are coming from - this is a GREAT tractor !!!
I thought I would need a ZTR, but this one turns QUICK for a 42" deck....

Never hesitated a MINUTE -
except when I had to dive off of it as I ran through the thorny vines and they wrapped around my legs and arms... they WERE in EVERY tree when I started....
but not any more !!!!

The first rider I tried - a Murray - wouldn't even GO thru there...
I ended up getting off it more and picking it up to get it unstuck than anything....
this one not only went thru there,
but I was actually able to cut, push, and even "MULCH" thru it all....
the high spots are now level and ended up with almost a plowed area back there !!!

I think this toy is more fun than the programmed 6.0 Liter Excursion !!!

Felt like Tim Allen out there !!!
"MORE POWER Arrrr, Arrrr, Arrr"

BUT, since I have the mulch cover in,
can I take the large plastic discharge chute off so I can get as close to the trees on the right side as I can on the left ? I guess I will leave the metal protective cover on....

Eric you wouldn't believe it unless you watch national news but it's snowing down here in Dallas Texas and 25 degrees at 4pm

Gawl dangit! Wish we had snow up here. weather.com reports a balmy -3F right now with a windchill of -21F. Too cold for snow to be falling!

The only reason it's going to be a white Christmas is because of the salt MNDOT poured on the roads this week. The X is developing a nice set of "salt streaks" as pictured below in a pics I took way back in '00 when she was just a couple months old:

Oh yeah, guess what!?!? Got to use the plow this evening. Spent the weekend at the in-law's and got back tonight to see a driveway full of snow.

Parked the X in the street and cleared the driveway. What fun.

Still doing snow dances so the plow can get more action!

Brings back memories of having to operate plow/sanders back when I lived outside Philadelphia

Stay safe up there in winter wonderland

Hey CHP-
where in Philly did you live. I spent a few years in Valley Forge and my wife is from Newtown (Bucks County) up by New Hope. Seems like everyone everywhere lived in Philly at some point......

Heya Scott,I was in Doylestown for a short time and across the river in Cherry Hill.

My brother has a place in the Kensington section of Philly, hopefully get to make it out this summer for a week or two

I also resided in southern Maryland from 1989-90 Wheaton & Lanham.

When I first saw this thread, I figured I was gonna see an X with a blade attached to the front ... or even a scraper rigged up to the hitch receiver. Buddy of mine (same guy who's retired & has his own machine shop) just bought a new 4WD Deere with a front-end loader and bush-hog.

Me? I just ordered a snow-thrower attachment for my 4-cycle TroyBilt weed whacker! We had 11 inches of the white stuff on our postage stamp lot on Dec.26 ... and it's supposed to be 75 degrees here today. But the Farmer's Almanac is calling for a nasty February.
