I don't know who you're talking to about the 6-oh...
but +100 hp at the rear wheels with just a tuner does not indicate it is maxed out !!!

I have a dyno chart around here somewhere but have forgotten where to go to add it to my gallery....

give me a hint and I'll post it...

As far as MY unbiased - just a user - not a seller review....
the Predator is the single BEST mod I have done to my X..... PERIOD !!!

99% of the time though, I run it in the 65hp mode (which they call the Economy mode, because in the 100 hhp mode I kept USING it... and that burned up too much fuel

The 65 gives me MOST of the benfits of the extra responsiveness and power AND a few mpg more... ( or the same mpg if I drive it like it was stolen and the police were right behind me )

JohnBoy,
Thanks for your feedback, I'm glad to the programmer is working well. Just looked at your dyno run results, very nice! Did you ever take any snap shots in stock mode?
Email me your results I'd really like to read them.

Cheers

No, didn't do any stock runs...
but there were stock 2003 6-oh's and were around the 275 RWHP number if I recall correctly...
Understand the 03's have the highest stocl HP because of the fueling strategies...

here is a photo session and results:

Thanks, too bad you didn't do a stock run. I was hoping to get an idea on how your other improvements made helped the PSD.

Many thanks.

The only other thing I've done is the Turbo back exhaust....

I do know the 6-oh that beat me didn't have an exhaust - only a K&N FIPK. - and he beat me by 12HP with a "screaming" split in the intercooler hose....

For those of you that have installed a programmer/chip/module, what helped you make your decision to buy the specific product (i.e. banks, superchips,edge,etc.). I'm pretty much sold on the idea of buying one, I just haven't decided on a specific manufacturer. All the info I see on the 'net, the gains are pretty close. I'm leaning towards Hypertech since they are a local company and several guys I work with are happy with their results. Btw, this is the first in a series of upgrades. Down the road, I plan on adding some type of exhaust kit and cold air intake. Thanks in advance for the advice.

Public opinion, reports of good customer service, etc. I would recommend the Edge or Diablo. No experience with Hypertech, but I know others have. Just look for something that has the features you want at the price you're willing to pay.

http://www.dieselsite.com or http://www.dieselinnovations.com for some additional ideas. They are sponsors of the site.

Hi there Cordova !!!
Wife's from there and In-laws have been there 50 years !!!
we make at least two trips a year up there !!!
Last Thanksgiving had my 6-oh air cleaner changed at the Oil Exchange on Germantown Pkwy !

I got the Diablo Predator from here:
http://www.motorhaven.com/home.php?cat=285
and with a $50 instant rebate going on right now, it's cheaper than when I bought it last Jan....

for less than $3 per HP and improved MPG,
it's been the best mod I've done on the Ex...
