Tom I don't recall what fluid is used in the transfer case but the differentials I'd go with Amsoil

Here's the Changing Differential Fluid article that Eric just wrote up last week,we'll be changing the rear diff fluid this weekend on our Excursion as we have a good 4,000 mile roadtrip next month ourselves

finally got the 4" exhaust from the turbo back out to a polished 5" stainless tip....Can you say GROOOOWWWWWLLLL. I love it...the wife of 'course just rolled her eyes and asked are you sure you bought this truck for me?. I looked back at her innocently and said of course honey!....

We went to the "fun ford weekend" in Houston this past weekend with two other couples following and my buddy in the last car said he could hear it howl from 5 car lengths behind when I romped on it.. oh and btw right at 20MPG with the cruise on..hand calculated of course..!

Awesome Tom! Good to hear you have some approval from the owner

Wish I coulda went to Fun Ford also but boy does my weekends keep me busy during the spring and summer, almost no time for a vacation

Great mileage numbers for the trip down and back, what was your average speeds?(don't be embarrassed to say you did under 90 MPH)

I kept the speed between about 68 and 73 depending on traffic and I had the cruise on every second I could. I kept watching the miles roll by and the needle kept staying where it was..I LOVE IT!!!! I found out the hard way as of Jan 1 of this year, that if you have a CDL which i do because i haul over 26K... if you get a speeding ticket you CANNOT take def. driving or have it deffered. Fortunately i was able to speak to the ass. prosecutor and she dismissed my ticket..LOl I wanted to kiss her!

I personally cant wait for vacation..I am self employed but am expecting a huge project to start around june and so it will probably be after that and most likely will be to Ft. Walton Beach and destin and while we are there getting a suncoast installed...

Eric...LOL!
