| Quote: | Scott what tool is needed to crank on the tensioner to get the belt on and off? I know on the 7.3L's we use a 1/2" drive breaker bar.

Its a cool little bar with the 1/2 drive on the end and it requires no long bar and little effort to move the tensioner. I guess its in the design and the bends and angle of the metal. My wife is a mgr at Autozone and I had to try it out. I am always a guienna pig for new things that come in. When I installed my Factory Tech Valve body my belt screamed on hard shifts and I emailed Gregg Evans and he also told me to replace the belt with a Gatorback belt and...well you know the rest.

I like that tool, I bought mine ( around $20 ). Made the job REALLY easy, especially the ability to change the angle and the length made it easy while climbing all over the engine to get the belt just right. Could have "borrowed" it from them for a $25 deposit, but it looked to interesting to pass up, told the "boss" I could use it for "other things".

Thanks Scott I'm glad Ford kept something similar between the Gas and Diesel engines
