Welcome to FordExcursions Fwdieselx
One of the first things we upgraded on the Excursion after dealer delivery was adding a rear sway bar which eliminated much of the body roll,so that's one for you to purchase.
Upgrading from the stock OEM gas shocks to say Bilsteins or Rancho's will help alot on control and ride quality, add the shocks to the list.

Fwdieselx,I'm located here in Richardson so if you wanted to hook up to go over the Excursions on what you can do to get the most out of your truck I'm open on weekends and don't forget to add the 7th Annual PowerStroke Rally coming up in less than 6 weeks to your calendar

I am finalizing the sale on the X right now. I have been looking at sway bars and just wanted some proven advice. I assume you have a shop. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Yeap! Gotta work those numbers out, hope you get the better of it

Actually we're just a large group of PowerStroke Diesel owners that like to wrench on weekends and about once a month we have a "mod party" where we work on fuel systems, transmission shift kits, intake systems, gauges, electronics, etc and it's all for fun and hobby of it all,no money ever exchanges between us but a few of us always brings cold drinks

Keep me posted as we'll get your Excursion dialed in handling and performance wise

Best price for a rear sway bar is from jcwhitney.com for around $159 shipped and that cannot be beat

I put a hellwig rear anti-sway bar on my X recently. Got it from JC Whitney's for about $160. Relatively easy to install. It minimized body roll on my truck - if I were to get a different Excursion, I'd do it again.

Congrats on the new ride....

Ya know I've seen more Ex's in the DFW Metroplex in the last month than EVER !!!!

If ya get down to the Southern part of the Metroplex around the Rendon/Burleson area, stop in and let's compare

good luck with it !
