It is not really that much,it is a smaller Hobie each hull comes in at 75 pounds. The sides are pretty tall though but below the top of the trailer. Trial run this past Labor day to a beach in MI went very well just using cardboard blocks for a temporary lift to get them off the roof itself. Did not notice any differnce i the driving, but in cross winds Iam sure I will feel it. I like all the bars to distrbute the wieght over a large part of the aircraft carrier deck of a roof.
Thanks for the input, and Congrats on the new Excursion, enjoy it!!! |

I've decided that Xochi was in cahoots with the gas stations to rid me of my bank account. I still and love her.

So do I !!! We've had some nasty weather here over the last few days ... a nor'easter with gusts up around 45 to 50 MPH, and about 4 inches of rain. Haven't had a chance to snap any pix, but hope to do so soon. I haven't even had a chance to remove the roof rack crossbars yet. Got to leave here in a couple hours to go over the river & through the woods for our feast.
Happy Thanksgiving y'all! |
