Tires is a touchy subject for "truck men".

I skirted it a little bit. I did not want to sway you one way or the other. If you had you mind set on new tires than I wasn't going to try and change your mind. Especially when Firestone's name is such a negative these days. Too bad. These tires have been fine for me.

I slipped on the new Firestones R4SII at around 68K. Eric is correct about long life. Mine may have lasted a bit longer but the Firestone store was having a sale. I like the mileage you can get from a road tire rather than an A/T tread. Plus, I do not need A/T tread over here in HI. I'm either driving on the road or driving on the lava. (Not the hot lava...)
