Just to chime in, I chose the Autometer Z-Series since the matched the factory guages most closely and they offer a green tinted backlight, again matching the OEM look.

I have a pyro, trans temp (get the electric 100-250 model as the mech model has a larger range and the needle never rises above 190, but then, I don't tow), 0-35 trubo boost, air pressure (train horn/on board air), voltmeter, and oil temp. Overkill, but I need something to amuse me on my 120 mile commte each day :-)

I installed the three gauge pillar and the new Autometer (unadvertised I think) three gauge underdash pod. Both painted to match (warning, the pillar and underdash pods need different color paint--that my be obvious to some, but I missed it and painted the underdash pod the wrong color).

I'm "working" on a web page to post pics of all these mods I chat about--seems like there's never enought time. Maybe I'll just post pics and worry about making it pretty later.

Scott, thanks for the info. Sounds like you are well equipped. I plan to put the trans temp, pyro and boost on the A pillar. I do tow so I am very concerned about taking good care of the tranny.

Haven't seen the underdash pod yet. Will check it out. Let me know if you post some pictures. Would love to see them.
Thanks!

Scott, you mentioned a pressure guage for a horn/onboard air. Where did you mount the horn, tank and compresser. The only place I can find is underneath the floorboards on the passenger side. I have an ARB compresser, a tank about the size [but not the weight] of a SCUBA tank and a fire engine horn. There is NO place under the hood for any of this.
