352 cu. in. Packard V8, bored .30 over with hardened valve seats, Jacobs Multi-Spark ignition, modified oil pump and electric fan. Generator replaced with alternator.

Packard Twin-Ultramatic (torque converter/planetary two-speed with direct drive lock-up) and Packard (Dana manufactured) Twin Traction differential (from '56 Patrician) with Packard Torsion Level (no springs) suspension. |

Bought to restore but enjoyed driving so much that I did minor mods (nothing that cannot be easily undone) to make it more dependable.while rebuilding engine, drive train, brakes, etc. Used for daily transportation for two years including monthly trips from Orlando to Miami area and back. Absolutely GREAT road car and dead dependable after initial rebuild/refurbishing. Currently down for interior-exterior cosmetic refurbishing. |
