Bought from a used car dealer for $500.00 vehicle sat WAY in the back with the junk. I was looking for a bronco with a 4 speed, and when I saw this one I knew this one was it!!!! tried driving it home, well I never made it home, it over heated twice the motor was sizzling, thought i ruined it. finally got it home and flushed out the cooling system, installed new hoses and thermostate, changed spark plugs, changed oil and filter and everything is good. I'm in the process of building it up, I have a set of 35"s from a 79 bronco that I want to put on this one. so a 4 inch lift and fenders flairs are soon to be ordered. the roof is already off and I put on a soft top from Skyler, also from my 79 bronco. I'm amazed it fit. I'm also looking for cheap sheet metal to replace the rust. And yes as usual this tailgate is rusted out just like all the bronco tailgates, so that will get replaced too. |
