currently its all stock except for the K&N intake & mufflerless exhuast that exits under the pass door 351cid or 5.8
115.000 mile on it.
it run great so far .
Mods soon to come as the cash allows it.
Since I bought it in feb. i have only done basic stuff like fuel pressure regulator was bad(replaced that)
TPS was bad (replaced that)
O2 sensor was bad(replaced that)
oil change & filters.
Oh yeah the harmonic balancer broke while driving to work one day(replaced that too.)

6/25/04 just got my blancobronco back from the tranny shop!
rebuild the trans!
I had it upgrade'd with center suport replacement planetary gears all new clutches & all the nomal heany duty stuff.
I also put in a shift kit ,extra large cooler,plumb'ed the tranny & transfer case with extend'ed vent tube that go to under the hood.
it cost me about $2,100.00 but its worth it being that I plan on keeping this baby for a long time! ( yeah, I say that about most of my projects )
Now Its been all done Up .
Cut & bent TTB 6" lift
& I'm currently building a Trick 9" rear
4:86 gears
35" inch tires
Deaver leaf springs
just Over 15" 'es of Travel front & Rear.

I am the 3rd owner of this bronco & I know all of the previous owners we have sold to each other in this little circle of friends.
I rode in it years ago before I bought it.
the bronco also has a bit of a film history.
its been in a few movies.
the last one was an animal planet movie called, "night of the wolf" it was the sheriffs truck.
I am the first one with plans of hot rodding it , & adding a lift , bigger tires etc.
the problem is I also have a couple of other projects (mustangs '68 & '85)
so the money is spread pretty thin between them.
the progress will probably be slow.
I know I should give up the others & concentrate on one at a time.
But I wont do that....
I just added a tweaked cobra 25 CB radio.
sept 12th
& I've become hooked on Blanco..
So now I've also added a 6 point Cage that also runs along the floor.
Rhino lined the interior.
added Beard seats & had the rear seat upolstered to match the front seats a tuffy center consol..ETC etc.... |
