I\\'m new to this forum but A few months ago I bought my 07 vic off a online auction and haven\\'t been able to get it to start i know the fuel pump is dead but even when I ran a fuel pump right to the rail it will won\\'t start does anyone have any ideas I\\'m thinking throttle body but I\\'m not sure there are these wires that were cut under the coolant inlet on the top of the engine by the town I bought the car from a green a green and purple wire and a black wire would this cause it not to start thanks for any help

did you trace the cut wires? Where do they go? Are you getting any spark? Did you try spraying starting fluid or carb cleaner in the throttle body and try to start it?

Also there is a fuel pump cutoff in the trunk that gets tripped from time to time. It is on the driver side under the mat on the back side of the quarter panel. Make sure that is not tripped as well.
