My family has two 1997 F-150s, one of which needs a new engine and has only 39,800 miles on it. From my research this appears to be an epidemic among 1997 F-150 owners. I called a local news channel in my area and they gave me the number of the National Highway Auto Safety Hotline--1-800-424-9393. Their address is 400 7th Street S.W., Washington, D.C. 20590. They take complaints and can help facilitate a recall. This line is ran by the Department of Transportation and Development. If we can get enough people to complain, maybe they will see a need to do something. Please join me if you are a victim, perhaps we will come out victors instead. |

If this is the 4.2L V6 engine, get in line, as there are thousands in front of you who have these turd engines blowing up.... |
