Does anyone know if you can mount the new Mercury Marauder 18" wheels and tires on older FCV's? ie. 1992 and up? I have a 1995 P71 that I think would look great with those. I think the bolt pattern 5 on 4.5 and offset is the same..... |

I think you can put them on the newer Crown vics only. They changed the spacing. I know they won't fit on the 96 and older. A guy bought a 03 Sport and he wanted his older wheels and the dealer tried to swap them and it would not work. |

I think it's better to find out the mfg and see if they make a ford version for your yr, remember they do have the Merc head, unless it don't matter!

Exactly. The suspension was revised in 2003 for the Panther platform (Vics, Marquis, Marauders). The shocks were relocated outside the frame, changing the wheel's backspacing.
