Hello All-

I am looking to buy a Diesel f250/350 (1998 +) within the next few months. I am really undecided about what the best combo is- extended cab/8ft/6ft or crew/8ft/6ft.

Looking for any feedback on what you purchased and how you feel about it.

I am really buying for the economy and towing capacity. I do use the cargo capacity but uncertain if a 6 3/4 ft bed is pointless? I have two bigs and soon to be 3. They do NOT ride in the bed.

Thanks for any info.

Not sure about CT, but it is hard to find a nice SD oil burner around here.

Anyway, sounds like you need a crew. Why not go to a dealer and drive the SC and CC with the long and short beds to help decide what you want?

I like the short bed myself. I don't need a long bed, and they are difficult to park in some parking lots.

I assume your "big" is a dog since riding in a bed could be an option. I have a SC, LWB and I wish I had a CC,LWB. I have not found much difference in a CC,SWB and CC,LWB turning radious....they are both big turns.

I have read the posts and so I just wanna share my experiences when I had my first truck. The most that had been repaired were my headlights, had tried to search online for car site to purchase then I found http://www.stylintrucks.com got great discounts here. If my truck needs major repair I always try to do diy first before consulting
