I was just wondering what the difference was between the Cobra Jet and the Super Cobra Jet?
Thanks

BaMaFrk,

I think you'll find that the SCJ Drag Pak had a bit more compression, solid lifters, an oil cooler, and I believe it had a bigger Holley carb. If I'm not mistaken, 3:91 gears were standard and 4:30's were optional. There were probably a lot more differences but I'm just pulling from memories.

The first one I saw was in a Torino Cobra at Shoney's on Bessemer "Super Highway", as it was know in those years. I have lots of magazines from the late 60's-early 70's and can look it up for you if it's important.
