Hey everyone was hoping i could get some answers or maybe get pointed in the right direction. Have an 03 GM and the E fan cycles on and off. Even does it when the ac is running and if i shut the car off and away it will cycle on and off a few times. Have checked the relay in the power distribution box and have checked the plug at the fan. The car recently had a new fan installed before i bought it for the same issue and i guess the car had over heated. is there a sending unit for the fan controller? The car doesn't run hot but i am getting ready to make a trip to Michigan next week and i want the fan working properly.
Thanks

The PCM controls the e-fan. If it was programmed to act like that to prevent overheating, it will do the recycling. Have the dealer check to see if it was programmed as such would be the only answer.
