Has anyone ever had a fram oil filter fail on them? Sun. I had an engine lock up only 140 miles after an oil change using a fram oil filter. Don't know yet if it was the oil filter failed or the pump. It went from 54psi oil pressure to zero at highway speed. I put the engine in neutral, reved it up and the pressure returned to 54psi. As soon as the rpm's dropped it went back to zero and as I was going down the ramp to get off the highway it of course went to knocking and locked up.
Any Ideas other than I got to replace the engine.

Was the filter that was leaking oil? If not, it was the pump, which will need to be replaced. And if the engine won't turn over, ITS REBUILD TIME
