Well for me...I need a lot more data input....

But if you 'see a lot of meta shaving'...I would not try to start the engine any more...!

You need to do a lot of "offline" research around the engine and areas that you see
the shavings....possibly getting an experienced Friend to come-N-help you.

It's hard for anyone to help w/the limited info provided....
w/o audio, video clips...being in your shoes.

You may have to finance an experience mechanic to come & do a "complete"
LOOK IN & Inspection.....but be careful of their ego/experience level for their
asking $Price to achieve your assignment.

As a home inspector would do....Have them provide detailed notes of their observation....

My 2 cents....

"then i seen small metal shaving all over the place"

Exterior of the engine? In the Oil when you checked the level? This does mean different things.

Metal shavings on exterior parts means something is rubbing. A loose bracket, worn bearings in a part, or just parts interfering with each other will cause small metal shavings all over the place. (A fan hitting an aluminum covering, for example.) Do a thorough visual inspection before you start it again.

If its in the oil, Hasta La Vista Baby! Its rebuild time.
