A.C. issue. Has this happened to anybody else before? 2003 Crown Vic Interceptor, mechanically sound car. One thing about the A.C. After initial start up, it will take 2 to 3 minutes for the Clutch to engage after that the A.C. performs flawless. Before I performed the "idle procedure" recommended in the owners manual after reconnecting or replacing the battery, it would take 3 to 6 minutes then once again perform flawless. Anybody else had this? |

Unless you plan on working on it yourself, I would find a shop that specializes in AC work. Sounds like Low Freon or Bad Relay. It probably will be cheaper in the long run to have them fix it.

.PLANS:: engine upgrade, 5.4L 2v stroker, rebuild interior in leather w/ buckets, thinking about turbos
