I just installed a K&N CAI and when i disconnect the battery the check engine light goes away. But when i start it up and start driving the car studders and has delayed reaction to my throttle movements, i also smell strong fumes from the exhaust. I was just wondering if any of you knew what this could be. thanks. |

Recheck all you lines and wiring connections. It shouldn't do that. Have you had the check light code? AutoZone and Advanced Auto check it for free. Go online and see what remedies on the forums people have found.
You may have knocked something loose.

I replaced the MAF sensor and still nothing. I went to Autozone and they gave me 3 codes in which i have no way of knowing what the hell they are since you cant get a straight answer on google.
