Hi i got a 98 crown vic and i just changed the tranny and the pmc fuse keeps blowing could it be the ground wire hooked to the tranny. I had a hard time getting the wire off when switching the tranny. the wire broke so i put a new end on it to hook on the tranny. could this be the problem. |

You may have either the wires reversed (it does happen) or the sender wire is grounded. Recheck the wiring carefully.
