I am having problems locating any aftermarket, universal type cruise control Kitsfor my 2008 Ford Crown Victoria retired police interceptor, 4.6L V8 SOHC with an automatic. It does not have a cruise control and want to add it. Does anyone have any suggestions where I might buy? I\\'ve had no luck at usual part stores (jcwhitney.com, Pep Boys, O\\'Rielly\\'s, AutoZone, etc). |

I suspect you will have to look for all the parts from a 2008 CV with cruise to replace everything in your car. Try ebay.com for used parts, or RockAuto.com for new parts.. Also, go look at www.crownvic.net for any write-ups about cruise control installation. Go to www.fordparts.com to see what you may need. I think all the wiring is there, just not hooked up.
Unless you have an unlimited checkbook, avoid the Ford steelerships. RockAuto will save you money big time.
