Sitting in the driver's seat, starting it up, getting out of the Galaxie and letting her idle. The audio is decent for my little digital camera...gives a nice perspective of what I hear when I fire her up before I go cruising.

Idling while focused in on the exhaust. Notice the puffs of smoke (combination of the 390 running a bit rich but mostly it's burning oil due to what I think is a leaking intake gasket).

Top down, waiting to turn left onto a rural road. The audio is decent and gives a general idea of what it sounds like when I take off from a stop. I only take it up to about 60 mph. You can tell the gearing is way off for the motor, just as she starts to rev up it shifts. A new trans and rearend will eventually be in the Galaxie's future. I always like seeing the perspect of cruising in someone else's vehicle so I thought this would be fun for some people with the bandwidth to check out. Nothing spectacular...the hood has a nice refelection off of it though, doesn't it?
