Getting started - removing ttb axle

Drivers side getting removed

79 Axle, removed, and painted.

Getting ready to bolt in.
With axle hanging on the coils (cheap 6" lift), the driveshaft is sitting on the crossmember. It's fine for the moment, but when I swap to superflex springs, I'll be fixing that.

Set truck down on springs, and radius arms are on. Now I need to do the track bar. Gears and locker were previously set up.

Radius arm brackets, modified.

Looking at angles, making sure things are straight
Getting ready to make a cover from the TTB arm..
I don't think the clear cover will work...
TTB arm cut out for cover, with some sliding protection left on the bottom

Another view, with stock cover unpainted
You can't tell from the photo, but the TTB arm cut out is about twice as thick as the stock cover.

Other side bracket, after paint

The old shock mount on top is in the bucket, and doesn't quite line up with the new lower mount on the radius arms. I need to fix this at some point.

Superflex coils, finally!
