Engine, tranny, and front brakes. The Marquis transplant/up-grade takes it first step!
I think something is missing!
Looks like a 4x4 in the front
That's it...the motor is missing!!!!
At least I didn't have to dicharge the A/C
OOPS...shouldn't have moved turned the wheels with the PS disconnected.
Thank GOD for the engine leveler!
Just misses the radiator support
Hmm...leave the hood off?
Need to clean up under there
Have to clean the K&N too

Modified throttle & cruise cables

Throttle cable mount. Using the original alternator bracket and a cut piece of angle steel

Close up of cable mounts. Cruise cable is cut from the throttle cable and drilled to mount to new intake

Finally opened up the '00 transmission to install the older TCC Solenoid. This is the printed circuit board Ford started using in '98-up 4R70W's
Here are the two solenoids side by side.
The parts are identical in size and shape except for the electrical connector.
Blurry...but just for reference
Cutting down the shroud around the connectors showed that the contacts are the same size as well.
The arrow points to a "bump" on the side of the '93 solenoid. I found out, after installing it back in the transmission, that this won't let the CB plug in completely.
Better picture of the "bump". I didn't feel like trying to make the bump look like the lock tab, so I just ground it off.
Chipped
