Original mounting pad was ground off and new holes drilled.

Hmmm...might be a ground clearance issue there.
New drive shaft is being built. Everything looks to be in-line!
The new and improved driveshaft.
After two attempts at headers....old school manifolds fit the best.
Adapter plates installed. This will let us use the factory 5.0 A/C, PS and Alternator.

Had to ditch the 302 radiator for something a little bigger. A new transmission cooler was added as well.
Not quite as wide as the original radiator, but a lot thicker, and all aluminum.
The upper hose just clears the A/C now, but there is plenty of room between the fan and the motor.
Compared to the 302 radiator, this is a monster!
