Remove the 4 screws that the blue arrows point too. (T20 torx bit)

When the screws are removed the voltage regulator will be pushed up by the brushes.

When you remove the 2 screws....the brush assembly simply comes off of the regulator

When you go to reinstall the regulator the brushes have to be held back into the housing. Use a paper clip to hold them in place.

|
With the retaining screws tight, press the brushes into the housing.
|
|
|
Here you can see that the brushes are held in place with the paper clip

To install, simply lay the regulator into place.
|

|
Tighten the mounting bolts
|
|
|
When the regulator is in place and screws tightened, pull the paper clip out.
|
|
|
You will hear the brushes pop out of the housing.....and your done!
