Is made using a 5mm (0.20" inch) steel plate with heavy hinges attached to car's floor and heavy-duty lock. Meter at the right upper corner of the picture is a digital voltmeter that I connect in the DC outlet for monitoring battery condition when sound system is being used with motor off. It indicates when is time to start the motor for battery recharge.
