I am swapping in a stock 302 from a 1990 Mustang 'Vert. Going the carbed route to save some headaches. I have several different intakes to try out before I decide which is staying. Using MAC shorty headers from a Mustang that will be mated to a custom exhaust - thinking about a single 3" or 3.5" pipe with a "ricey" muffler to throw some people off. ;) |

I have a rebuilt AOD with shift kit I plan on using, as the car was originally an automatic and this should be easier on drivetrain parts. I will be running a stock t/c but also have a 3500rpm stall t/c to experiment with later. The car is factory equipped with 3.90 gears, limited slip, and 4 wheel disc brakes, so it should be a fun ride.  |
