With the new hardware on the new rag the old and new fasteners had no clearence so i went toACE hardware and purchased some allen head bolts and it was still a tight fit. Although the access to this bolt was much easier.

This project was a pretty involved detail in compareson to the end results. quite a learning expierence. This was the wheel that had been on since we purchased the meteor...and im happy to see it go.

the original wheel. I have quite a bit of work ahead of me. There is alot of play so i need a new rag joint. The replacement...well repair kit i got at Autozone was..well less than desirable...ok ok it sucked ass.

I moved 50 miles away to a new home with a garage! now i can close the door and my neighbors wont complain cuz im working on my Ranchero. Theyre just jealous whiny babies..jealous cuz they cant change a tire without calling their autoclub.

i put on new brake drums & shoes, hubs, and hardware. The drums came from Sunnyslope auto, now called North mountain auto, and the hubs were made and sold by Falcon Connection in Phoenix Arizona.

While using the pickle fork and a hammer my daughter Stormie took this pic a split second before the head of the hammer flew off missing doug's head by an inch. We laughed and joked about it but he did say he'd been mad as F@$% if it hit him.

The old gas tank cleaned out and repaired at Doug's rad shop in chandler. I put a gas tank rubber coating on it and put it back in the ranchero. I purchased the new sender from www.gastanks.com.

this is the regulator that came with my electric fuel pump. I ended up buying a 0-6 regulator and it is much better for my application. I prefer the brass fittings over the chrome fittings by far. The brass was purchased from ACE hardware for a fract...

I didnt feel comfortable with the coil so close to the gas pump so i moved the coil to the block and then moved the pump closer to the shock tower to give it more room to put in the regulator

I put in this breaker for the fuel pump and what an easy job it was after i wiggled my fat ass between the seat, steering wheel and the transmission hump...took more time getting in and out than it did to install the part, but it was fun.
