There is plenty of room to adjust the length of the TV cable at the lower end... Fine adjustments are done at the Carb

Twisted outer shield fits into turned sleeve brazed into a section of 3/8" brake line. The brake line is safety wired into the locating block for the carb end of the TV cable. The inner braided cable is run through a short section of 1/8" brake line...

Almost done... The two linkage sections were butt welded after a sleeve had been fabricated and slid over the longer piece. once the butt weld was cleaned, the sleeve was positioned and welded in place.

Note how much longer the transmission end of the linkage is... The AOD shift lever sits farther to the rear than either a C-4 or C-6.

Yoke from 85 T-bird driveshaft... It's been drilled for 4 magnets. Part of a vintage Cruise Control package I'll be installing over the winter.

Part number on the C-4 yoke indicates a 65 on application. There weren't any numbers on the other two yokes...

The length difference between yokes is obvious. A C-4 or C-6 yoke can be used with the AOD if it's cut down to the correct length.

The instructions say to "wire the magnet assemblies into the driveshaft so that they are spaced evenly around the shaft"...

This isn't a chromed starter... It has a layer of spun ceramic insulation covered by .015 thick aluminum tape to keep the exhaust maniford from overheating it.
Zero starting problems no matter how hot the weather!
