arrived in Vancouver in one piece-thanks U-haul!
Now, it's time for the safety inspection.

this is the car the day after I brought it home; the car was very clean, all I did was armor-all the tires!

last day-still 99% original; tommorrow I am installing wheels & tires, and doing some engine work

this is how it looked under the hood when I brought it home; not very clean, but its all original, including points in the distributor; it's an "H-code" Cleveland 351 2 barrel, rated @ 166 hp

this is the original timing chain I think; the teeth on the upper gear are actually plastic and cracked in five places, and the chain is so stretched, its ready to jump a tooth! I made 6 full-power pulls on the chassis dyno with this time bomb!

the cast iron 2 barrel intake manifold has been removed and a new cam, lifters, pushrods, springs, seals & locks have been installed without removing the heads;

notice the yellow "OK" stamp on the head casting, which has survived after all these years some how

I painted this Edelbrock Performer 4 barrel intake Ford Corporate Blue before I installed it

engine is all buttoned up, now the accessories can go on; I did all this work over a long weekend!

no air conditioning, just power steering and the alternator

a little cleaning and some paint cleaned up the engine bay nicely!

the previous owner installed radial tires on the orignal steel wheels; these are the original hubcaps

spare tire: G78-14 Goodyear Polyglass bias ply; not sure if this is the original spare tire, I thought Goodyear didn't make the polyglass tires until later in the 70's
