Omni AU "prophet orange" base coat, then a thin coat of PPG DBC500 binder with a little Omni M147 gold pearl in it, and finally covered with two coats of Shopline 620 clear.

the car was originally 2B "bright red", then it was painted orange, then repainted the current orange; most of the fenders, half of the doors and half the roof had a clear coat on them as well.

the rust on the outer skin ate through the inner skin also. we will weld new metal in to fix it.

it looks like someone tried to "glue" the under-hood insulation in place; we'll clean it off and repaint the bottome of the hood.

I'm going to remove the light buckets; they aren't lined up correctly and there is a lot of was and paint in the gap where they mate.

We've ground off all the paint and bondo, so we can properly fix the dent; there was about 3/8" of bondo on this panel, for no reason.

there is three coats of paint on the back half of the car, and four on the front half; it was red originally, then a loud orange and then the current orange.

the black rub rail that ran down the length of the car got peeled off, we aren't going to re-install it when we are done, then the holes that were hidden behind it were welded closed.

Both doors had rust holes in the lower rear corners, so we cut out the rust and welded in new steel.

lousy picture, but the right rear quarter had been poorly repaired previously; it looks like they probably backed into something. Instead of banging out the dents, they just punched a bunch of holes and filled it with about 3/8" of bondo; we fixed it...

I removed the front valance, grill, and both light buckets, since most of it wasn't aligned correctly and there was a lot of wax and chipped paint in the gaps.
