100_0844.jpg These are the 'Aussie' 302C iron heads I initially used; the Cleveland was only produced in North America for four years, '70, '71, '72, & '73, but it was produced in Australia for 15 years until 1985!

These heads have the small 58cc chambers that the 4 barrel 'American' heads had, with the smaller intake ports of the "American" 2 barrel heads, for better street performance.

They also used the "smaller" 2 barrel ports that work a lot better in a street engine than the humongous 4 barrel ports, which work better for high rpm race engines.

I did a little porting in the area under the valve and cleaned up the ports, then had bronze guides installed along with hardened exhaust seats, a three angle valve job and bigger stainless steel valves.
