Notes: |
Car was originally rebuilt in rural NSW Australia in 1994. It was the cover car for numerous magazines back in 94-95 with the number plates 'SLIK-RX'. It changed hands and moved to Brisbane Australia for another few years before its where shouts were no longer known.
Fast forward to 2 weeks ago, I get a tip about an RX3 coupe up for sale at a great price, condition unknown. I drive 800km that day with cash in hand to go see it, It was only when I saw it that I realised what the car was. It's like a time capsule back to the 90's (although now with a turbo engine instead of ported 12a).... I had a poster of this very car on my bedroom wall when I was a kid... and best of all I got it at about half of market value let alone any added value because of its history.
Once in a life time find.... and I won't ever be selling it |
