This truck was bought 5 years ago by my ex-wife with our tax-return money. When we seperated I sold it to my brother in-law at the time for $800. Three months ago I bought it back from him for $100. He has no clue how to work on a truck! I installed a new carb and fuel sending unit, re-did the valve gasket covers. I am having a hard time trying to get parts and interior panels, all the re-furbishing junk I need to find. |

I am under the realization I am going to have to replace the transmission. I do not want to buy a rebuild kit because in 6 months I may be back in the same position again, having to drop the transmission. I am not too sure where to look or who to turn to. I just want it running correctly. I have dropped a tranny before and replaced it with a rebuilt one when I was 16 years old.
