The car has been in my family since it was won as a community event giveaway at Cascase Park in New Castle, PA in 1954. I was to young to drive in '54 but my father gave me my pick of three tickets he purchased for the car giveaway. My number on the back of my baseball uniform was 13 and one of the tickets he had was 131313 it seemed at the time as the one I should select. YUP....it was the winning number. My Mom drove the car until I became of age. I still have the original title. |
