I recently purchased this 1965 Ranchero. I am calling it the Ronchero (clever huh). since I purchased it I have replaced most of the floor pans, the clutch, the intake manifold, and carburetor. I guess I should say it has a 289 with a 3 speed on the column. it is getting new exhaust on it today and I am hopping to get the windshield and rubber seal replaced soon. I think that it has lived here in the Northwest for most of its life, and it has been leaking water (we get a lot of rain here) inside for years I think, that is why the floor pans were rusted out so bad.it has other rust issues that I will address as I can. I am really excited about this Ranchero, I have wanted one for years, and it is so much fun to drive. This is going to be my daily driver. |
