Engine: Its a stock 289 As far as i know I just bought it in Feb 2004
It has a holly 2 barrel carb off of a international about 400cfm.
its has a dress up kit . chrome valve covers & air filter & oil breather
Its has dual exhaust that dumps right at the muffler exit.
The car is a factory 289 2barrel carb car.
So far all I have done to it is oil change & a carb rebuild.
Drivetrain: C4 trans & a 8" rear end with something like 279 gearing..( something really low (numericlly) gets good gas milage.
Its all stock!
Hard to believe a car this old still has all stock stuff..
Notes: I bought it from a co-worker that just in passing conversation mentions he need to sell it because his wife (bla bla)
It was a project he was going to take on himself & just never got around to it .
This car as well as my bronco has a film history.
it was used in some music video.
I wish I could remember whos video tho.
(sorry)
it runs great!!
I have been driving it around more than my bronco because I trust it more.( The broncos transmission is bad)
I drive this thing everywhere .
You know what I love about this car is its simplicity.
No smog test either, that I really love!
I look at the engine & can see everything.
I'm not scared to work on it at all.
No computers !
