Engine: 302 EFI, All cork gaskets replaced with rubber, passenger side manifold replaced, A/C compressor replaced Converted to r134a, I am a disabled vet and got reinjured so had to hold up on some things, but I have a 57-2542 K&N for and 88' I will be installing. It takes a few adjustments here and there to install new intake since a/c is higher in 86'. Have to do something though, what retard put air box against firewall on top of valve cover is beyond me. This is my daily driver and the least you do the longer they last I find in my opinion. I pull I will probably change to single 2 1/2" with something kind of quiet in the middle. My wife and I take trips in this and loud exhaust gets annoying at long distance.
Drivetrain: Well not going to far on 29" tires and stock suspension on 1986 bronco, so replaced with rough country 4" lift. Once again this is daily driver and this is plenty good and still goes around corners without scaring people. Also didn't want rooster tail from the offset to fit 33X12.50 tires on it, and like the stock rims with the ring around outside anyway. Luckily BFG always there to help they make 33X10.50 MT KM2 tires that fit perfect on stock rims and no mud gets outside fender (well not much anyway) Really want to change gears from 3.54 to 4.10, and rear electric Eaton locker some day when I get rich lol. All the bushings that can be replaced have been.
Notes: Spent most of my times on these modifications of course. As this is a daily driver I put Remote start with keyless entry on bronco for those cold mornings. Also i dynamated the whole inside of the vehicle (THE WHOLE INSIDE). Replaced the door panels. Got the insulation pads from Broncogreaveyard, and believe me they are worth the cheap price they are. I built actual speakers boxes inside were the speakers go on the following for more accurate sound: front speakers are two 4" speaker 2 way fusion speakers located were original dash speaker used to be, two 6.5" 3 way fusion speakers for the doors, fusion head unit with Bluetooth and hands free device (works great with iphone), and last is enclosure that holds one 8"sub and amp under driver seat so I lose no room anywhere. My pride and joy is middle console, it is made by Tuffy Security and if just awesome isn't enough the cup holders even has slot for coffee mug handle. I have also replaced any seals, windows or doors, on this thing.

Sorry for lousy pic will get better one later. Hardest part of this on 86 is a/c compressor is a lot higher than 87 which is what this k&n is for. A little adjustment and works great.

This is example of what happens when I take a task. You will notice the whole thing is F26'd and dynamatted to ensure no rattles. I really take the time to have no rattles in my daily driver.

Keep in mind those door panels are gone and have brand new ones now. Main purpose of picture is to show Tuffy Security console.
