IMG_3815.JPG 804 hits | 62.21 KB | Posted: 4/3/07 On a JETTA find the 2 plugs under the dash (yes you will have to remove the plastic panels under the steering wheel, the fuse box cover, and the metal panel under the plastic one uder the dash.) The plug you want is the one on the left which is blac... (Posted in: Remote range extention)
IMG_3816.JPG 861 hits | 68.87 KB | Posted: 4/3/07 I personally dont like cutting factory wires when I can aviod it, especially because the antenna wire had another wire spliced into it from the factory, again just my preferance. I chose to strip back the sheath and just tap into the wire. (Posted in: Remote range extention)

IMG_3818.JPG 768 hits | 67.42 KB | Posted: 4/3/07 Here you can see the completed wiring, I used a brown wire which I ran up the A pillar over both doors and down the C pillar a little. Now my remote works from quite a ways, nice for the ECS window roll up/down reprogramer. (Posted in: Remote range extention)

IMG_3715.JPG 652 hits | 50.43 KB | Posted: 12/18/06 This is a euro switch, it is better than the american version. It has a parking light feature, and is designed to control a rear fog light. What you use the secondary fog light switchf ro is up to you. (Posted in: Day Time Running Lights Are Evil)
IMG_3717.JPG 474 hits | 48.04 KB | Posted: 12/18/06 grab the switch like a man, and look inside it. There are a bunch of pins. Find the one labeled "TFL" which in my book stands for "Totaly Fuckingstupid Lights" (Posted in: Day Time Running Lights Are Evil)
IMG_3721.JPG 696 hits | 91.34 KB | Posted: 12/18/06 In this picture you can very easily see the TFL pin. You now have 3 options: tape it so that it doesnt make contact (kinda hard), break it off (not my first choice), 3 bend it down, quick and easy. (Posted in: Day Time Running Lights Are Evil)
IMG_3723.JPG 691 hits | 68.25 KB | Posted: 12/18/06 Now find an implement of your choosing, I prefer a flat head screwdriver. Bend the tab down so that it will not make contact (Posted in: Day Time Running Lights Are Evil)
IMG_3725.JPG 736 hits | 72.07 KB | Posted: 12/18/06 And there you have it, all bent and not in the way. Now put the switch back in and have fun (Posted in: Day Time Running Lights Are Evil)
MVI_3769.AVI 735 hits | 10.34 MB | Posted: 12/18/06 Learn how to remove your switch. For the layman....with the lights off push in on the switch, then turn it toward on. It will then click and you can pull it out. (Posted in: Day Time Running Lights Are Evil)
