be sure to remember that this little bolt guide needs to be tapped in (towards the radiator) to make room for the new alternator

Did a test fit of the New G3 Alternator and found out it wouldn't fit!!! The left side of the case was hitting this part of the alternator bracket mount. So some shaving will be done to make room!

I shaved the ends on the elbow hose where the ends had frayed and bubbled allowing the hose to leak. cut off about 1/2 inch on either end. Used some metal hose protector and electrical tape to clean things up a bit, and to provide a little protecti...

close up of the braided elbow hose that goes from the water pump to the front of the starboard bank of the block. I couldn't use the 7/8's bulk on it because the nipple on the block is larger!!! it's a 1 inch fitting, yep the hose is special order ...

old top harness goes into an OEM slot, the white wire with a black stripe with the new block style male connector goes right underneath, the two thicker black wires with orange stripes go onto the positive terminal in the back of the alternator along...
