I think this may be the last one in the country. Shortly after I bought it I could not find anymore (work at a parts store).....NO ONE had one. I have had it for a while (close to 10 years, originally bought for the 92), hence the reason you can't read the part number; 20-6244 if any of you can find one).

Kind of hard to tell but it is a straight, unbolt-bolt in deal. I did find a part number for the adapter itself but once again, it too is a long gone number. I did not realize how long that shaft is. Compared to the stock Ford pump it is alarmingly long. However the tool to install the pulley puts it flush with the end of the shaft, which is where it needs to be.

Off comes the pulley, you do need a special tool for this. Behind the pulley are 3 17mm bolts (11/16 will work in a pinch) that need to come out. Also the pressure hose fitting is 18mm (I highly suggest taking that out before pulling the bolts on the face out); there is a pressure valve that will keep fluid inside the reservoir so you will not make a mess taking this out. After that it's pull off the return hose (which will make a mess if you do not evacuate the reservoir) and the pump is off.

Ford R2 pump out. Nothing wrong with it but I had a perfectly good Saginaw upgrade wasting away.....so why not? I actually did get the pump back in tonight but ran out of light for decent pictures.

All bolted up and ready to go. That looks like a lot of space between that pulley and bracket...

Almost a factory look. Just fill-er up with Type F and bleed the air out.
