I wish I knew the story behind this. This is the rear passenger-side framerail. What looks like happened is a hook was used to hook into the opening in the frame rail to pull the Galaxie out when it was stuck. The hook must have torn the framerail like this. I purchased the vehicle with this like this, so my guess is this is from many years ago.
