this is the original 3-pinion forward planetary; its still in good condition.
I'm going to replace it with a wide-ratio 6-pinion planetary out of Ford E40D 4 speed trans, to improve durability and lower my 1st gear ratio 10% to 2.71 & 2nd gear 5% to 1.53:1.
