I have since sold the Alpine in-dash DVD player. I now use a portable DVD player or a laptop computer for DVD playback. The brain on the CVA-1005 miraculously fits in the dashboard of the Excursion. This makes for easy hooking up of other devices such as TVs, Xboxes, DVD players, etc.
