Local truck place made me this longer 22 inch one gauge unit up for me for 18 bucks. That is a deal in Canada. I spec d it longer because I may get the wrong group battery and have to stretch it one day.

I made up the wire above the one gauge to go from fender body ground to cylinder head engine ground and carry on to the 120 amp Denso alternator's case stud ground. The old unit below looks pretty poor by comparison IMO.

Pretty pleased with the one gauge unit and with plenty of extra to stretch it over to the wrong side group battery if I ever have to.

Kit for a 1986 Fifth Avenue. One inch sway bar, with anodized repair plates and all bushings and anodized cupped bushing washers. You are on your own for bolts and nuts.

Got a pair of used stem style brackets off a stripped junker. De rusted and painted them up, chasing the threads and replacing all the hardware.

According to a mechanic buddy these stems break often. So Im staying ahead with a pair from the junkyard in case I do break them, because I know of no new source to get them from

See that tiny circle of rubber in the bottom left of the pic ? That is what was left of the upper bayonet bushing above the K frame on one side. The other side was simply MIA

Got the new urethane stem or bayonet bushings installed. Here is the one under the fuel pump on the passengers side. Note the bayonet stud and nyloc nut threads are lathered in anti seize.

Granted the sway bar bushings themselves were not that bad. At 29 years old and wanting the full effect of the urethane bushing conversion, I swapped in the new ones, There is the old one down the bar waiting for me to cut it off.

Imagine my surprise when I opened the box and found GM coil spacers. I'd have laughed except they sent them....twice. Got my money back and I ordered from a company that spoke better Mopar

Even with less than 55K original miles on the car, it's still 29 years old and so are its bushings. The price was right and they look like a piece of cake to install. Identical method to the urethane transmission mount just easier

I wasn't even going to change the front shocks. One was busted and came right out of it's body, leaking fluid. The other seemed to want to stay at quarter extension ! Guess I'm glad I spent the extra on front shocks.

For a change I used Energy Suspensions urethane shock absorber bushings. Fit great, installed well. Should outlast rubber and offer a less wallowy reaction in corners.

New Sensatrac in place. Old ones came out well, except the passenger's top, which I Sawzalled the nut on two lands and it came out no trouble......right out of it's shock body actually.

Finally made the switch to fully synthetic 10W30, so I figured it was time to pony up for an oil filter fit to filter the synthetic. This was on sale so I cracked open the sporran and fished out enough Canadian Tire money and purchased it......Ooooch...

These rad and trans fittings will allow you go to larger 3/8" lines to replace the stock(rusted and 28 year old) 5/16" lines. This will increase line volume and delivery by 44%.

Double flaring the trans end (rad end not required) is the easy part. Bending 3/8" lines is a good deal tougher than smaller lines. Best have your Wheaties and employ the tube bender. I own two types.
