Line seated with a hammer is now a ported vacuum port. I drilled the two 1/16 inch holes into the venturi 1/8 inch apart, into that square well exactly as far down the venturi as the rectangular hole in a stock 70s T-Q

Looking at the square part of the casting that the pipe is centered in pretty much explains where to drill. BTW I saved teh gasket and had it all back together for zero dollars and running beautifully an hour later.

Both wires are green on the 117 amp Denso alternator. The large 8 gauge hot lead (in black) is identical in size to the 82's Chrysler alternator hot as well.

Both green field wires on the Denso appear to be interchangeable and bolt to the housing next to each other.

To use the stock 89' Denso brackets, this steel bracket comes off the A/C compressor.

That's the 82's steel bracket we're ditching. We're keeping the aluminum tab that bolts to the other side of the compressor mount.

This protective insulator comes off the Denso with a 12mm deep socket. The stock 82' power wire has it's own shroud attached to the wire and does a perfect job replacing this one. Notice the two tiny field wire studs on the Denso ?

Now notice the two studs have male spade connectors nutted onto them. This allows a true bolt-on, no cutting, crimping or soldering installation electrically (thanks for the idea Mike).

Denso mounted with both stock 82' green and blue field wires clipped onto the male spade connectors I nutted onto the Denso studs. Note the stock 8 gauge 82' power lead just bolts onto the Denso's stud.

Want them angled ? Put them in the vice and bend em'. These nut onto the Denso alternator studs making this a true bolt on, with no wiring cutting at all.

Everything normal. Rubber fine and in place, with round locating protrusion in place. The icicle is hanging from it.

Everything not so fine on the passenger's side. Note the rubber has walked back out of the clamp and the locating protrusion is nowhere to be seen. I hate Ottawa speed bumps. If only you could sue !

In the pocket ahead of teh passenger's front tire, just behind teh bumper. I purposely left it hanging down, in the airstream 1 inch for extra cooling.
