after the one ton swap, i wasnt getting the rear flex i wanted, so I made these from 1.5x3 angle iron. had to make them into two pieces to fit.
welded on a pice of angle on outside, so it only takes two .5" bolts to mount them together. Drilled several holes in case i want to move things around later.
the top of the angle is close to the uderside of the body, thats why its in two pieces. Has to be bolted together once they are slid in from the bottom. they sit on top of the frame rails
one of these pieces welded on either side to mount the bracket. I am still working on my welding ability, so you just get to see where I spot welded it.
these are the front shock mounts from a ttb that were cut and booger welded on (best I could do vertical) for the lower mounts. Supposedly this mounting style in-line with the axle tubes eliminates a lot of the bucshing bind during flex

this is mounted up in there, painted, and flexed as in the following pics. the stuffed tire is hitting the body, so i will have to bumpstop it there, and the extended side still has another 7.5 inches of stroke left in the shock. I think I have way more than enuf shock now.

best flex i could find when i finished the work. All tires are firmly on the ground, but without unpinning the wristed arm, the drivers side tire kept wanting to slide off the ramp curb
the 40 is fully stuffed, and hitting the inside fender well. it clears perfectly around the fender as it stuffs tho, which is nice after the trimming.
again, all tires firmly on the ground and no where near lift. the front tire is about 36" off the ground, but the rears are ramped down, so who knows the actual difference. Im happy
I reworked the front shocks while doing the dual batts and exhaust. the front is no where near coming off the ground, but There was no more room on this ramp.
since I put the heims in, I still need to adjust it some, as this tire is hitting a lot on the bumper, even after the trimming I did. So I will adjust the heims and trim some more.

thought I would get more flex, but it seems there is another bind instead of the shocks. Its the damn shackles/hangars.
Guess Ill have to rework that now.
about 4 inches off the ground, but hard to tell
